Coaching Essentials
A foundational introduction to Vertically Developmental Coaching
This programme is offered either as a stand-alone programme for leaders seeking to understand the basics of Vertically Developmental Coaching and how to apply these in the workplace, or as a foundational module for those without formal coach training who wish to gain the Harthill Diploma in Developmental Coaching.
It is a short programme consisting of:
- Two online workshops lasting 3 hours each
- Individual online follow up inquiries around these via our Sana™ learning platform
- Three supplementary modules – again via the Sana™ platform
- Reflective analysis of two one-to-one conversations with your direct reports, using our unique MyStory SenseMaker® App
Key content elements include:
- The role of the coach and nature of the coaching relationship
- Effective communication in coaching
- Listening to Understand
- Exploring together
- Developing deeper curiosity
- Use of basic coaching models
- An introduction to the Leadership Development Framework
Costs:
- There is no cost for those taking it as a foundational module in our Self-Authoring Coach Programme
- £250 ex VAT for those who wish to take the programme on a stand-alone basis
- Anyone who takes the programme on a stand-alone basis and subsequently enrols for the Self-Authoring Coach programme within 18 months of completing their Essentials programme will automatically receive a £250 discount in cost
