BA (Hons), AMEC APECS Coach, Supervisor & Mediator

"Working with the LDF has made a tangible difference to how I approach my client work. It's also great to have found a place where my consulting, coaching, team coaching, supervision and general creativity can feel at home! I love it when a plan comes together ..."

Frances is at the heart  of the marketing of Harthill, a core Coach & Team Coach, Consultant, Supervisor and Mediator

With a Masters in Executive Coaching, professional accreditation as a Mediator and Supervisor, along with Masters in NLP, Frances has been a professional consultant and coach for 31 years. A long, rich journey!

She built a successful practice providing Organisational, Team and Executive Coaching with Board and senior teams and individuals, in scores of organisations globally, working on the ground in Europe, India, UAE, USA, Canada, Russia and Hong Kong. Her very broad psychology-based training gives her insight into people and behaviours, whilst focusing on the key business issues - facilitating organisational change, organisational wellbeing, agile leveraging of markets and commercial drivers, talent development strategies, leadership transformation and ethical governance. All important stuff!

A good understanding and experience of business principles in action is as important as the psychology of how and why people do what they do. All context is relevant and as a sole practitioner skilled in narrative coaching, and using neuroscience, EQ, NLP principles, systems thinking, TA and Gestalt, Frances has learned to flex and work with whatever shows up in the system right now. Her sports coaching background also comes into play, as she continues to develop that aspect of systemic team dynamics.

Frances' style is conversational, mindful and very present. Her criteria are authenticity, creativity and a willingness to take on new thinking, consider all perspectives, value all participants. She believes that people do their best work in trusting conversation, using reflection and mindful inquiry. And fun!

Frances is fortunate enough to live in a South Oxfordshire village, plays volleyball weekly, practices meditation and Pilates for balance and restoration, cooks up a storm in her kitchen and has an acre of gardens, orchard and vegetables. Clearly a no-limits kindofa girl ...

Community of Practice

Harthill has created and sustains a collaborative group of coaches, consultants and facilitators in a Community of Practice,

which supports our own transformation and the transformation in individuals, teams, organisations and society. Each person who completes the LDF Authorisation is included in the Community and enriches our work.

Developmental Events

Orchestrated and choreographed by Rebecca Stevens, the Community is beginning to buzz with ideas, connectivity, sharing of experiences, co-inquiring into aspects of our work and the field. Harthill has created and curated a range of developmental Events which serve this purpose and some are also available to those outside the Community of LDF Authorised Practitioners.

Collective Inquiry Groups

Harthill has also launched a series of Collective Inquiry Groups - Community Inquiry, Developmental Inquiry, Practice Inquiry. We have also launched FrameChangers - like a book group for sharing and discussing any books, articles, videos or indeed any material that has shifted our frames of reference, triggered a new line of thinking or developmental idea.

Wisdom Council

Under the guidance of Dr Stephen Duns, we have also initiated a Thought Leadership space, with a Wisdom Council providing guidance and oversight, a planned annual Conference at which we will share new thinking, and a supportive group that will facilitate the research and studies that can lead to the publication of articles in our field.

Our Collaborators

Harthill seeks to attract those in the field with whom there is a "resonance", and we are proud to have many Collaborators who are aligning with us, sharing their experiences and contributing directly to our work
