A VERY WARM WELCOME TO THE LDP PROFILING PROCESS
The Leadership Development Profile is a renowned leadership development resource. It is based on a pioneering developmental model, the Leadership Development Framework. The LDP is used in over 40 countries, in several languages, and in hundreds of teams and organisations. More than 11,000 leaders, managers, development professionals, consultants and coaches over three decades, in a diversity of cultures have used the LDP to support their development and leadership.
Each individual completes the 32 unfinished stems in the LDP Form and a specialised analysis of those sentences enables a Profile to be drawn up. This unique analysis is presented in the bespoke LDP Report, which gives insight into the meaning making behind the sentences, and so enables the current main Action Logics of the individual to be identified.
The Process
The process is outlined below for obtaining your own unique LDP Report.
Usually, you will be requested to complete this by your Coach or as part of a Harthill led process in your organisation. Your Debrief will therefore be provided by that Coach or as part of that process.
You may also request your own report - but not without the Debrief with an Authorised coach. That option is costed below.
When you are clear about who will do the Debrief -
- complete the LDP Form here - Fill out an LDP form
- your form is sent to the specially trained Raters where your LDP Form is carefully rated for the Action Logics
- your personal LDP Report is sent to you and to the LDP Authorised coach who is providing your Debrief
- you will arrange and conduct your Debrief conversation with an LDP Authorised Consultant to help you understand it in context and to decide how to work with it
The LDP Report is not available without an LDP Debrief - LDP Debriefs are carried out by Harthill LDP Authorised and experienced coaches and consultants. If you are not currently engaged with a LDP Authorised consultant, Harthill can assign you one for your LDP Debrief at the following costs:
- Your own LDP Report with online LDP Debrief - £585+VAT
- Your own LDP Report with face to face LDP Debrief - £875+VAT
- Your own LDP Report with LDP Debrief plus developmental coaching - price on application

Instructions for completing the LDP Form
Please complete the LDP Form by clicking on the arrow below.
Using your own words and unique form of expression, please respond to each of the 32 “sentence stems” in the form.
Taking your time, it is best to complete all the stems in one unhurried sitting if possible - although the form will save if you are interrupted
Please do respond freely and honestly, giving it your full attention. This will be better than making very hurried or automatic responses.
If your internet connection is interrupted, your completed sentences should be saved and you can return and complete the form later, provided you use the same device and browser. If you do not see your previously completed answers, please email lynn@harthill.co.uk
Your completed form will be used by highly skilled human raters to produce your Leadership Development Profile (LDP) Report.
This document and your LDP Report are strictly confidential and are shared only with your skilled consultant who will conduct your LDP Debrief.
